On Friday, 22th October 2021, 13th Annual Award Dinner of AMFA was held. The event was attended by a total number of 55 delegates, including representatives from the Central Bank, the Ministry of Agriculture, National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Banks Association, banking and non-bank credit organizations, and various other local and international organizations with microfinance services. The main objective of the event was to strengthen the relationships between financial institutions and partner organizations, share the practices of leading organizations in the sector and award the best-practice organizations within 3 categories. Award winners are the following:

1. Best Branchless MFI Practice of the Year – FINCA AZERBAIJAN
2. The Best Application of a Digital Tool of the Year – PASHA Bank
3. Best Client Protection Practice of the Year – Viator Microcredit

The event also coincided with the 20th anniversary of AMFA.
