On April 20, 2023, a round table meeting was held between the Azerbaijan Microfinance Association (AMFA) and the Mediation Council (Council), and at the end of the meeting, a Memorandum on mutual cooperation has been signed.

The memorandum was signed by Jalal Aliyev, Chairman of AMFA Supervisory Board, and Nadir Adilov, Chairman of Mediation Council.

The purpose of signing the memorandum is to further improve the mediation processes, guided by the relevant instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to contribute to the quick alternative resolution of disputes arising in the field of microfinance, as well as to increase the role of mediation in the settlement of civil and commercial disputes, the level of professionalism of mediators, lawyers, legal experts and the banking sector. It is to support the development and optimization of the judicial system in the country
